This is Ibo Cooper from legendary Grammy-winning Jamaican contemporaries of Burning Spear, Third World, with, for tomorrow at least, my backing choir:

He's in the picture cause we've both just been sound checking for tomorrow nights show at the Africa Peace Award - an African Nobel Prize that's been awarded this year to the nation of Sierra Leone for their efforts in ending years of civil war and building a sustainable peace. It's a long story, but I wrote a song in honour of the country, and I'm singing it tomorrow night at the award ceremony, to three presidents and a bunch of very VIPs at the ICC in Durban. Pretty cool!
